A Bit About Myself

I began practicing yoga around 2007, starting my journey on a “2-weeks for $30” deal. Like most, I was looking for a workout but found I was coming away with so much more. The very nature of yoga: bringing together the mind, body, and spirit while focusing on one’s own journey appealed to me greatly. My practice took off from there. I remember being inspired by favorite teachers and thinking how cool and fun it would to be a teacher myself…

Fast forward seven years. Becoming a yoga teacher remained a thought in the back of my mind. I joined a new studio after a few years away from yoga and when the opportunity presented itself, I jumped at the chance and signed up for a teacher training. It was an amazing, life changing experience and was just the beginning of my journey.


About My Practice

I am a RYT-200 in the Yoga Alliance having completed my training in 2015. I believe the practice space should be a supportive environment where yogis of all levels and abilities explore, play, and challenge themselves. The classes I offer range from beginning yoga to intermediate vinyasa flow to restorative and yin yoga. Classes combine alignment, breath, and mental awareness to encourage and empower my students.
