Paris!

Great news! Triple Minority will be showing at the 19th edition of the Paris International Lesbian & Feminist Film Festival at the end of the month.

Even better news, Vonyse and I will be in attendance! Yes, that means we are going to Paris, France for the festival! I'm so excited, I can't even tell you. I'm so looking forward to this.

Along with that, there is a showing of In Disbelief at the BHERC African American Film Marketplace this weekend. So if you can't get to Paris for the Triple Minority screening, this one is in our own backyard.

Yet Again...

Triple Minority won again! The movie was awarded Best Narrative International Lesbian Short Movie at the Tel Aviv International LGBT Film Festival! Wow, what an honor!

And if you're in the Los Angeles area, check out the world premier of Amber Sharp's new series 'Don't Go'. This is the follow up project to Triple Minority and it has been a labor of love, to say the least. Swing by and say hello to Amber and the rest of the cast!

Another Award Winner

Triple Minority has won another award! The film was awarded Audience Favorite at the Sacramento Gay and Lesbian Film Festival!

How cool is that? Also, if you haven't seen the IMDB listing, there is some great feedback from people who caught the film in the theatre and during it's run on the Logo Channel.

It's The Holiday Season

The holidays are in full effect. Shopping, shopping shopping and gift wrapping is about to get underway.

Regardless, I'm still submitting for projects and think that I've found an agent that will be proactive in the coming year.

Also, check out the new Triple Minority website.

Somebody In Finland Is Talking About Me

Triple Minority director, Amber Sharp, sent this link to me today. I'm totally excited that the movie will be shown in Finland, but I have no idea what it says! Anyone out there speak Finnish?

So, I just checked out Triple Minority on the Logo website and was surprised to find that not only has the movie been viewed over 1600 times, we are the top ranked short overall! 5 stars for everyone! Logo has also added an interview with writer/director Amber Sharp, so if you haven't seen it, check that out.

The film has also been added to two more film festivals occuring next month, in Dallas, TX and Long Island, NY. Links to both festivals can be found on my Myspace page. If you live in the area, please check it out...and feedback is always welcome!
