Paris!

Great news! Triple Minority will be showing at the 19th edition of the Paris International Lesbian & Feminist Film Festival at the end of the month.

Even better news, Vonyse and I will be in attendance! Yes, that means we are going to Paris, France for the festival! I'm so excited, I can't even tell you. I'm so looking forward to this.

Along with that, there is a showing of In Disbelief at the BHERC African American Film Marketplace this weekend. So if you can't get to Paris for the Triple Minority screening, this one is in our own backyard.

In Disbelief Screening

There was a screening of In Disbelief, the last short film that I shot.

Our director, Tash Grey and producer, Adesuwa McCalla.

Adesuwa McCalla and me.
Roxanne Barnes, who plays my sister.

Terrence Edwards, who plays my husband; Tash and me.

It was a great time and so nice to see everyone again. Keep an eye out for In Disbelief playing at a festival near you!

In Disbelief, Truly

I was truly In Disbelief when I was cast in a short film about a woman suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. What a challenge and what a wonderful experience. The cast and crew were just amazing and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished project.

A few shots* of yours truly on set.

Being a poser for the camera.

My character's Marilyn Monroe moment.

Sitting in the wheelchair waiting to shoot the scene.

*Thanks to Tomek, boom operator and set photographer, for sending me these pictures!
